From Field to Front Row with Steve Yaglowski

Recently, we sat down with Steve “Yago” Yaglowski, Front Row’s Director of Retail & Farm Ag Sales, for an enlightening conversation about his journey in agriculture. Yago shared how his path to leadership wasn’t straightforward but fueled by genuine passion for the industry and the farmers he serves. Beyond discussing his ambitious vision for the team’s impact, we explored his fascinating choice of dream dinner guests that revealed the diverse influences shaping his leadership philosophy.

We laughed together over a DIY project gone wrong, proving that embracing failure is part of his approach to both personal and professional growth. His concise three-word sales advice during our lightning round demonstrated why he’s become such a respected figure in agricultural sales, while his choice of theme song for the sales division perfectly captured the spirit of his team.

David Hardt
Chief Executive Officer

David Hardt, a servant leader at heart, believes a successful business comes from the health and wellbeing of his employees. He is extremely passionate about Front Row Sales and Marketing and the impact that his business has in the marketplace and the communities that we live in. David is a graduate from Colorado State with a BA in Marketing- Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. And with over 23 years of experience in the Hardware business, it is no surprise that David’s business philosophy has sustained continued growth, on-going community impact, and a team of employees that share his same passion for creating and executing solutions that fuel growth. 

David’s passion for people is a lifestyle. In his spare time, David coaches Edina Girls Softball and Edina Boys Baseball, and serves as a mentor for the teams that he coaches on and off the field. David is a steward in our community that encourages and allows his employees time to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, a foundation that builds houses for those in need and additionally allows each employee in the organization a give back day to volunteer at a place of their choice each year. David is a family man that enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, whether they are attending a sporting event, outdoor activities, or watching the greatest sports team on earth (the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers), he is always up for an adventure! 

James Ross
Vice President of Digital Marketing

James Ross, Vice President of Digital Marketing began his career in 2004, with an emphasis on dev operations and SEO. In 2006, James owned Minneapolis Gaming LLC. In 2010, James founded MNI, a digital marketing company and later sold it to Front Row Sales and Marketing in 2021. James has over 22 years of experience solving tough technology problems. He applies a unique and inquisitive approach to his solutions.

As a leader of the people, James is supportive of his team and is laid back. He encourages his team to problem solve and create solutions. James leads the growth and operations for the Digital Marketing Department at Front Row Sales and Marketing.

In his spare time, James enjoys creating small electronics from scratch, modifying, and enhancing cars, photography, traveling and building drones.

Savannah Archambault
Vice President of Finance
Savannah Archambault, Vice President of Finance, IT, HR & Golden Openings, started her finance career in 2010, and since has held senior level finance and operation positions. Savannah joined Front Row in summer 2022. 
 
Savannah is a leader who dives straight into projects and company initiatives due to her tenacious nature. She leads with a sense of enjoyment, hard work, and play. Savannah leads the corporate services strategy and financial growth for Front Row and recently took over operations of Front Row’s latest acquisition, Golden Openings.  
 
In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and her son and enjoys going to her son’s sporting events. In the warmer months, Savannah enjoys spending time outside on the lake and gardening. Savannah has volunteered as the Director of Technology, at Westonka Youth Baseball League, and currently volunteers as the Treasurer at Westonka Youth Basketball Association.
Mike Cooney
Vice President of Business Development
Mike Cooney, VP of Business Development for our Retail and Distribution channels, started his career as a manufacturer’s rep in 1998. In 2011, Mike founded his own agency, MC Sales and Consulting, which merged with the Front Row family in 2016.  

Mike is a natural leader and strategist who engages his best-in-class team to drive top and bottom-line growth for our vendor partners and customers.  In his years of experience, he has learned the importance of win-win scenarios and that quality people make the difference.  Mike believes our team is a family and works hard to cultivate a culture that facilitates personal and professional growth for his teammates. 

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons.  He is an avid golfer and a talented cook that enjoys all things BBQ.  
Wayne Morgan
Vice President of Business Development
Wayne Morgan, division leader of Front Row Sales and Marketing’s Home Center and Service team, is a graduate from Concordia University, with his BA in Business Management and Communications. Born in England, and as an avid traveler, and with his diverse-cultural background, Wayne enjoys meeting and maintaining relationships with people from all over the United States and worldwide. 
 
Since 1996, Wayne has worked as a specialized sales agent in the hardware industry and continued working on the manufacturing side in sales management for several electrical industry leaders such as Gardner Bender, Klein Tools, and Southwire. For 20 years, his primary focus has been in the home center channel – Menards, Lowe’s, and Home Depot. In 2016, Wayne joined the Front Row family and currently manages our home center channel. 
 
With Wayne’s passion for people, he decided to work in an environment that would continue to allow him to travel, to connect with talent all throughout the United States and drive top line business sales for the vendors and customers that he and his team serve. It is no surprise that in his spare time, Wayne and his family, wife, son, and daughter, venture out and travel to embrace new cultures and visit new countries across the globe.
Brian George
Director of Industrial Sales
Brian George, Director of Industrial Sales, has led the Industrial Sales Department at Front Row Sales and Marketing since 2014. Brian started his career working at Fastenal and quickly became hooked once he started helping distributor sellers solve their problems. Brian is known for helping suppliers grow sales in their businesses. 
 
Brian’s top skills are communications, planning, sales, and surrounding, leading, and coaching teams to be the best in the industry. Brian has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Advertising from Winona State University and is certified as a welding professional. 
 
In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, (Robin, Ava and Jack), ice fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding and hiking with his dog Hazel.   
Director of Inside Sales
Director-Inside Sales
KB, Director of Inside Sales, has led the Inside Sales Department since 2018 at Front Row Sales and Marketing and has been in the sales and buying industry for 35 years. Kevin is known for his organization, negotiation, and leadership skills. Kevin is a coach and teacher supporting & inspiring his direct reports also guiding them on the ins and outs of the hardware industry, and Inside Sales operations. 

Kevin leads and manages both the Minneapolis, MN, and the Indianapolis, Indiana Inside Sales personnel. 
 
In Kevin’s spare time he vigorously plays hockey, golfs, bikes, camps, hikes and enjoys a good read. Kevin is known for putting a smile on the face of his team and others that surround him. He has shared 40 + wonderful years, and 3 children with his dear wife Ellen and knows how to enjoy the small things and small laughs in life.
Steve Pearson
Director of Strategic Accounts
Steve Pearson is an accomplished sales leader with over 25 years of experience working with major retail chains across the United States. In May 2024, he joined Front Row, where he brings his extensive expertise to strategic accounts, including Tractor Supply, Orgill Inc., and Mattoon Rural King. Over the past decade, Steve has successfully led Consumer Products sales teams with a focus on the Home Improvement, Hardware, and Farm Ag channels, solidifying his reputation as a strategic thinker and industry expert.
 
A native of Minnesota, Steve graduated from The College of Saint Scholastica with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. While at Saint Scholastica, he not only demonstrated leadership and commitment as the head of the college newspaper but also played soccer as part of the 1988 and 1989 men’s teams, achieving back-to-back national championships.
 
In his spare time, Steve enjoys outdoor adventures, embracing his roots and passion for nature. His ability to combine professional expertise with personal enthusiasm makes him a valuable asset to Front Row.
Steve "Yago" Yaglowski
Director of Retail Sales – Farm and Ag
With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Winona State University, Steve brings extensive experience in retail and wholesale sales, specializing in the Farm and Ag sector. Having started in outside sales, Steve worked closely with plumbing wholesale and retail, honing a deep understanding of business development and relationship management.
 
In their current role as Director of Retail Sales, Steve excels at fostering strong partnerships between manufacturers and retailers, helping both parties grow their businesses. With a keen focus on strategic planning and leadership, they leverage their skills to drive results and create lasting value for stakeholders across the supply chain.
 
A natural relationship builder, Steve thrives on collaboration, connecting key players in the industry to achieve mutual success. His ability to identify opportunities and implement growth strategies has proven invaluable in helping businesses thrive in an ever-evolving market.
 
Outside of work, Steve enjoys being with his wife and 2 kids, spending time outdoors, whether it’s hunting, fishing, riding on the UTV, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings of their family farm.  These activities fuel his passion for connecting with nature and provide balance to his professional life.
Keli Selness
Program Director
With over 15 years of experience in various client and business development roles, Keli Selness serves as Program Director at Front Row Sales and Marketing. She actively pursues professional growth in digital marketing through workshops and professional webinars, while maintaining her RN licensure.  Her passion lies in digital marketing’s transformative power, finding true fulfillment in witnessing businesses flourish through collaborative and innovative team strategies.

Before joining Front Row, Keli built her career in Healthcare Management as a Registered Nurse and Director of Client Services, where she led a team of RNs and other healthcare professionals. Her management philosophy centers on empowering team members to develop strategic thinking, optimize productivity, and proactively enhance their professional skills—all within a positive and supportive work environment.

Beyond her professional commitments, Keli enjoys yoga, traveling to bucket-list destinations, and hosting social gatherings in her home. Her dedication to community service is evident through her past volunteer work with the Military Veteran’s Project, Feed My Starving Children, and her annual commitment to VEAP, a Minnesota-based food pantry serving local communities. 
Shawn Plep
Lead Developer

Shawn Plep, Lead Developer, at Front Row Sales and Marketing leads the development team with over 20 years of experience as a developer. Shawn comes to us with a B.S. in Cybersecurity, from Ft. Hays State University and has certifications in CCNA, CompTia A+, and CompTia Network +. In Shawn’s words, “We help companies present their products in the best possible light – in the ways that customers can most easily see the products. Whether that is through an endcap display or on a website landing page, the medium is secondary to the mission of “what” we do. Our service can be summed up as: “providing engaging presentation of our clients and their products”. 

Shawn and his team also stay on the cutting edge of technology by implementing the latest advancements in AI-assisted programming into our development process. As a leader, Shawn believes he is only part of a team of very talent people and in that light, he sees himself as the organizer, facilitator, and the supporter of his employees and department. In Shawn’s spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, volunteering at his church, and learning Spanish.

Jillian Phillips
Human Resources Manager
Jillian Phillips is an accomplished HR leader who brings a unique blend of business acumen and people-first leadership to her role at Front Row. A graduate of St. Mary’s University with an MBA, Jillian built a highly successful career in retail leadership and recruiting, working for major brands such as Target and Bath & Body Works. Her passion for people ultimately led her to transition directly into recruiting and human resources, where she found her true calling.
 
Jillian believes that people are a company’s greatest asset and has dedicated her career to being the kind of HR leader she wished for early on—someone who listens, empowers, and makes a real difference. She joined Front Row in 2023, quickly finding a home where she can directly impact careers and lives in meaningful ways.
 
Outside of work, Jillian is married and the proud mother of identical twin daughters. She loves spending time outdoors, especially in the summer months, and enjoys gardening as a way to relax and recharge.
